Scrutiny:
DeWalt, 2022, Szczyko & Stewart 2004 described Isoperla muir from California. They did not designated a holotype, nor did they designated a repository. This could have been easily fixed this with a quick note, but left the name languishing as nomen nudum. Subsequently, they used material from "muir" and others to describe I. umpqua. I. "muir" is now a synonym of umpqua.
