• Scrutiny:
  • DeWalt, 2019, The status is changed to nomen dubium based on the statement (though unsubstantiated) by Mo et al. 2019 that the type is lost. Also, the same paper reiterates the claim of Stark & Sivec 2008 that the illustration of the female holotype does not fit the current concept of Kiotina. Both declined to provide a provisional placement for the species. The name will remain with Kiotina until another genus name is suggested for kelloggi.
